I just got finished with segment four of project nap time. For those of you who don't know, Kristin and I have taken it upon ourselves to nap on at least one couch in every academic building on campus and in the KCC before the end of the year. Today we took the couch on the third floor in Flory, the education department. It is by far the most divine couch on campus (so far). They're firm, but soft and seem to curve in all the right places. The only problem with napping on this couch is its location. It is near a vending machine that cuts on and off and people tend to pass by rather frequently. However, once you are asleep these factors are no longer a problem at all. Thus far, I have three others with which to compare it. There is something to be said for the couch on the second floor in Flory as well, however the arm rests are a bit hard, so it makes resting your head problematic. They are like fluffy clouds though, and you can't ignore softness of that magnitude. The couches in the basement of the library are also particularly good for napping. They are soft enough to be comfortable, though nowhere near as soft as either of the couches in Flory, but they are isolated, which is very important for a good nap. People rarely, if ever, venture into the basement of the library making it a quiet, peaceful place to nap. My longest nap (nearly 3 hours) was here, and for the most part it was completely undisturbed. The other place I have napped thus far is the couch in Bowman. Not that comfy and often a very busy place - a bad combination for nap seekers. However if you are tired enough, you can make it work and still wake up refreshed.

I just realize that this is probably my longest post so far and its all about naps. How sad is that?
