The Artist and the Muse are one today. It's odd, Kristin and I have had the same thoughts running through our heads all day. I was just preparing to go to the bathroom for a good read, when I saw Kristin leaving
her room, book in hand. She stopped in my doorway to say "hi" and seeing that I also had a book in hand and was starting for the door, she asked if I was planning to go to the bathroom to read as well. As it turns out, neither of us needed to go, we were simply looking for a good read. Good times. Kristin does rock my world.
In other news, I had quite a pleasant day (excluding the reprimand I got after Spanish class; apparently eating in class is "Forbidden" and eating chips is a mortal sin. I don't know if I've ranted here or not, but I detest anal people and I think this takes the cake.) Other than that, it was sunny and warm. I knew this morning that it would be hot. I could feel the heat hanging thickly in the sky as I walked to Flory to get my tennis racket. (I left it there on Monday because I'm an idiot and miracle of miracles, it was still there today). The Kristin and I had quite a nice little outing to the book fair. Books can make any day fairer, sigh... Where was I, oh yes books. I do love cheap books. After that we went to Wal-Mart and got things to make our bellies happy. I enjoyed my first really
good bowl of chocolate ice cream since lent began. Orgasmic! Nothing hits the spot quite like creamy chocolate Breyer's icecream. All in all, it was a good day for the Joanna.
Oh and I might mention that the turning point in my day was right after Justin stopped by this afternoon. Wonderfulness seemed to follow. Ok, sorry to be mushy...
