I had my honors orals today and I must say that it was not that bad at all. I rather enjoyed certain parts of it. I guess it's all in the professors you choose for your committee. I had Dr. Trupe, who is a very pleasant woman, unassuming and nonthreatening; Dr. Scheppard, a very interesting prof. who genuinely enjoys teaching and is passionate about her specialty; and Dr. Suter (Scottie) who is, by far, the coolest prof. Bridgwater has ever known. So, they asked me some Lit. questions and some overarching education questions and Dr. Scheppard asked some Biblical Interpretation questions. All in all, a good experience. I was even told that my oral skills aren't as bad as I think they are. Baisically the whole experience made me feel pretty smart and I got a lil ego boost which is always nice. I'm very glad to be Joanna today. I mean let's face it, no one is as cool as me.
