Last night Justin and I went to walmart after i got off work to get ingredients to make some corn crab chowder and spent 2 hours mixing and stirring things in various pots. When it was finally finished we sat down to enjoy a big heaping bowl of our labors only to discover that it was gross. We ended up eating hot dogs and chips (which were delicious and far easier to make).

This morning Justin and I went to a store on the square because they are having a going out of business sale, and discovered that the reason they are going out of business is because they charge $400 for shirts with sequins on them. Damn that, we're going to Memphis where the "po folk" shop.

I never post. I suck.

Where to begin....

Well, for starters, dont't ever have your taxes done by H & R Block. They will ass rape you. Justin and I took our papers to them the other week because between the two of us we had about 7 different income statements and we thought the extra money would be worth the trouble it would save us. It wasn't. The woman had but to click a few buttons on the computer enter a few numbers and charge us just over $200. Next year, my capable little accountant (Justin) will be handeling that little task.

I'm very tired right now after having worked 2 hours over so that the shift that leaves at 9 could get off with little, if any, overtime. Bastards. The same thing happened last Friday as well.

And now a list of things that have happened since my last post:

Tried Crawfish (its not bad...tastes like shrimp with texture)
Thought the transmission was going out in the car, but (i think) we were wrong
Celebrated Valentine's Day with Justin
Discovered the Oxford Public Library and got a card!
Which led to getting hooked on audio books (time flies at work these days)
Started another painting, and its not blue
Used my Muse powers to help Kristin with a piece she was working on...it felt good to stretch the old Muse powers once again
Learned how to make hemp jewelry
Learned a new friendship bracelet pattern
Finished sending the last of my wedding thanks you's (i know, i know, six months is entirely too long to wait before sending thank you's...)
Gotten one of my 3 letters of rec for grad school...and glanced at GRE stuff
And probably many more facinating things, but that's good enough for now

I'll try to be more faithful in my posts, but I make no promises.
