I figure everyone is wondering where I've been for about the last month or so. Sorry about the lack of posts. The car accident threw me completely off schedule with all the little things in my life that I try to do regularly (like cleaning, blogging, jogging, being a normal person, etc.) I'm just now starting to get back into my usual rythm (which should mean I'll be posting again).

After the accident, Justin and I had a hard time finding a car. We found a 1990 Corolla, but neither of us was comfortable buying a car that old for a primary vehicle. Then we found a 1997 Suzukki Sidekick that looked exactly like the one that we had before, so we bought that. When we got it home it started to make weird noises, so I took it to the transmission place here in Oxford. The mechanic took it out for a quick spin and proceeded to tell me that it had been rebuilt quite poorly (I knew it had been rebuilt, but I figured they would do a good job or not do it at all...silly me). So, we took it back b/c it had a 30 day warranty. The guy we returned it to was a dick about it but he gave us our money back. And FINALLY, we found a 1995 toyota corolla which we are currently driving. It's a nice little car and I love her. She reminds me of my first car (a dodge spirit the my sister totaled shortly after she started driving it). And in the midst of all this mayhem we had to deal with renting and returning cars and a bunch of other mess dealing with insurance and to whom I was supposed to mail which forms and all that good stuff. Just writing about it makes me tired. We made about 4 trips to Tupelo alone in about the space of 2 weeks. (tupelo is about an hour drive from oxford and frankly i don't want to ever drive there again). We put over 1,000 miles on our first rental car driving around northern mississippi just looking for a car.

Then, after we found the car we have now, just for kicks, we drove to VA for the 4th weekend. It was good times, but that trip is Always a bitch, so we were quite tired when we got back from that.

Last weekend we went to Memphis with our next door neighbor (grady). He and Justin both drank and had a shot at the end of the night that made them both sick. I'm so gladd I was DD.

And that's been the month of June and the first part of July for me. *sigh*
